Now it’s time to contact the leasing office to schedule a time to pick up the keys to your new home! During this visit, you'll also need to pay your deposit and provide a copy of your ID(s), proof of rental insurance, and verification of utilities. Finally, be sure to sign your move-in condition form 48 hours after your move-in to complete your move-in experience. P.S. – don’t forget to forward your mail to your new home!
Make sure you have your move-in date written down and all your tasks written out and prioritized. Make an efficient to-do list:
Start loading up those boxes! Tip: Label boxes to make sure you know where they go once you get inside your new home. Declutter and give away as much as possible so you’re not taking unnecessary junk you don’t need.
Make sure to have everything packed up before moving day. You’re also going to get hungry with all the moving, so pack snacks for the day. Once you’re ready, pack up those trucks/cars/vans and head to your new home in our Steadfast Living community!
You are finally home! Now the real fun begins. Get all those boxes unpacked and your things organized into their new spaces. Once complete, it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved moment in your new home!
